What Is Wii Homebrew?
January 14, 2009
According to wikipedia, Wii homebrew refers to the reuse of Nintendo’s Wii game console hardware, accessories and software for purposes outside those intended by the manufacturer. Usually you can only run software and applications released by Nintendo but with homebrew it basically opens up your console so that foreign code can run on it. This means your Wii can run games biw based on other platforms and you can even run imported and copied games as well. This is why Wii homebrew applications are becoming more and more popular online these days.
